National Cathedrals Conference
The National Cathedrals Conference will take place from 17th to 20th September 2018 in Manchester. This will be the first time that cathedral clergy, lay staff and Chapter and Council members will all be able to gather under one roof to discuss and facilitate development of a strategic vision for the future direction of Cathedrals.
Entitled “Sacred Space: Common Ground”, the conference will see over 400 delegates gathering over four days. It will be addressed by the Archbishops of Canterbury and York. It will be an opportunity for the Archbishops to voice their vision for the Church, and to help Cathedrals develop their important roles as places of gathering, inspiration, delight, education, challenge and debate.
